Artwork Description: Tension. We all deal with it. This one isn’t just about holding on but also finding that delicate moment to at which point you decide to let go. This piece for me was made from that exact sentiment. The chaotic lines didn’t begin as, “much to look at.” I held on and kept working until it did look like something- that’s when I let go and let this piece live. “Fresh starts” are sometimes found when you hold on keep going and the same goes for when you decide let go and start something new. Artwork Description: "In the Beginning” was created with ink and watercolor on paper, built slowly and intuitively rather than planned. I began with loose ink marks, allowing lines and shapes to find their own balance. Watercolor was added afterward to soften the structure, introduce depth, and create space for the piece to breathe. The work reflects the idea of a fresh start as something quiet and unfolding, not sudden or forced. It embraces uncertainty, small decisions, and moments of pause—much like the early stages of creation or change.
