The LVAG, in partnership with Art After Dark, is seeking submissions from current LVAG members for an art exhibit titled
“This Is Us, 30yrs Strong.” It’s an opportunity for members to share their talent and artistic voice.
Submissions should reflect the artist’s interests and passions.
All levels of artists are invited to submit.
Framed digital work is acceptable, but AI-assisted images will be disqualified.
Perishable artwork shall not be considered.
Individuals may submit up to two works of art. Submissions will be curated and selected by LVAG Board Members. Artists are encouraged to submit up to 5 works for consideration. Each artist will receive wall space based on the number of artists.
Note: Please carefully read the Requirements for Artists section below for additional important information.
• Open to any current LVAG member 18 years and older.
• Artwork must be original works.
Digital art, photography, and printmaking are acceptable; AI-generated work or replica prints shall not be accepted.
• Images included in applications must be of actual artwork, not conceptual images.
• All artists MUST be available and sign up to volunteer for a minimum of 2 hours during the exhibition on one of the following dates: Thursday, November 13; Saturday, November 15; Thursday, November 19; or Saturday, November 21.
Volunteer time slots will be between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
The Guild will coordinate the schedule by email.
Kindly DO NOT APPLY if you are unable to volunteer or if unable to have another member cover your Volunteer time slot.
• The artist agrees to leave their work up through the end of the exhibit.
No artist may drop off or remove their artwork without consent from the LVAG.
• Artwork that contains offensive language or overtly political, religious, and/or sexual content or imagery, including nudity,
will not be considered.
• Artists must provide QR codes for all their work, including the title, dimensions, price, artist's name, website, and social media information. Artists must also submit an artist bio. If you would like the LVAG to provide your QR codes, the fee is $10, which covers all pieces in the show.
• All 2D artwork must be hang ready. 2D pieces that are not on canvas must be framed. Canvas and larger 2D artwork must be secured by one of the following; D-rings, a wire, or an existing hanging point secured to the back.
• 2D artwork dimensions may not exceed 48" wide or 48" high; weight cannot exceed 40 lbs.
• All parts of the artwork must be secured and stable. For example, sculptures must be securely glued or welded together.
• 3D artwork dimensions may not exceed 20" L x 20" W x 35" H; weight cannot exceed 40 lbs.
• A pedestal/display fixture will be provided for selected three-dimensional works.
• Please note that LVAG or Art After Dark does not secure insurance on exhibited artwork. Artists will exhibit at their own risk. We encourage you to purchase your own insurance during the exhibit to recover any loss from broken or stolen artwork.
• Artists agree to hold harmless the LVAG or Art After Dark, its officers, employees, and agents from all liability for any injury or damage that may occur to artwork as a result of the negligent acts or omissions of its members, employees, officers, and/or agents.
• Artists acknowledge that the gallery is a public space. Art exhibited in the gallery may be photographed by visitors and members of the press for promotional and educational purposes. This includes social media postings before, during, and after the exhibit.
• Artists are responsible for delivering their art to and from the exhibit space.
• Artists acknowledge that if artwork is not picked up on the agreed-upon date set forth in this agreement, LVAG will have the art removed immediately from the exhibit space at the artist's expense. Any art that is left longer than 7 days will be considered abandoned property and will be subject to a $100.00/day storage fee.
• Sale of goods is facilitated solely by the artist; no LVAG or Art After Dark staff will take payment.
If a purchaser is interested, fellow gallery volunteers will put them in touch with the artist. 80% of proceeds from any sale go to the artist and 20% to the LVAG. Payment must be made within 24 hours of purchase. The artist is responsible for all applicable sales tax.
• Artists agree to drop off their artwork at Art After Dark, located at 1551 S. Commerce St. Las Vegas, NV 89102,
on Thursday, November 5, 2026, during one of the following time slots: 1:00–3:00 PM or 6:00–8:00 PM. Artists must bring ID.
• Submission Deadline & $10 Nonrefundable Application Fee: Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 11:59PM
• Artist Notifications: By November 3, 2026
• Artwork Drop-Off & $40 Nonrefundable Participation Fee Due: Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 1:00-3:00 PM or 6:00-8:00PM
• Exhibit: November 7–21, 2026
• Artwork Pick-Up: Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 4:30–5:30PM (after the Member Mixer)
• Closing Reception and Member Mixer: Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 2:30–4:30PM
