What is LVAG?

LVAG is the Las Vegas Artists’ Guild. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting local artists and providing education and resource support to our membership.

The Las Vegas Artists’ Guild was founded in 1996 by a group of local Las Vegas artists with a motto of “Artists Helping Artists.”

Fast forward to 2023. Much has changed throughout our history; technology, communication, mediums, galleries and the city of Las Vegas itself. With this ever-changing landscape, one thing has remained constant—community. People want to connect with each other to collaborate and exchange ideas; to share in the creative experience and belong to a community of artists that support and promote freedom of expression.

Recently, we had to vacate our gallery space which exposed a fundamental oversight of one the Guild’s most valuable assets, community. We became so focused on the day-to-day operation of a gallery that our commitment and engagement with our community suffered.

We are in a unique position to reimagine and rebuild our Guild into a strong arts organization now, and into the future. We are a blank canvas. Our members are overwhelmingly in favor of reopening a new physical space. With new leadership and a renewed vision, we are well-positioned to create a new space that can serve as a gallery, retail, meeting and workshop space. Our goal is to strengthen our creative community through offering art education and resources and providing a venue for local artists to display and sell their art.
